Full Tilt Poker invited poker gurus to set up website

TiltWare, a Los Angeles-based software design and licensing company, announced the official launch of Full Tilt Poker, advanced poker software devoted to improving the overall online poker experience.

According to Tmcnet.com, the software was designed by the prominent poker players Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Phil Gordon (Co-host, Celebrity Poker Showdown) Clonie Gowen, Jennifer Harman, and John Juanda, also known as "Team Full Tilt."

The website targets users of all skill levels, allowing them to play against poker champions for fun or for real money in cases when online games of skill are permitted by law. New games include Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Single Table and Multi-Table Tournaments.

The 2004 Full Tilt Poker Games began with satellite tournaments on July 10th. After the initial No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament, the winner will play four of the Team Full Tilt All-Stars - Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Erick Lindgren and Howard Lederer. The money, won by players during these tournaments, will go into a bounty pool, which will be shared equally by all of the players who knock a professional guru out of the main event.

"We have been working so hard for this moment when we can now offer poker fans our complete software suite with real money tournaments, where permitted by law, that allow users to play against real champions from Team Full Tilt," said Bob Wolf, chief marketing officer of TiltWare.

"Online poker is a growing phenomenon and the fact that unknown Internet players have won the final event of the World Series of Poker Tournament two years in a row is a testament to how much you can learn online," said Howard Lederer, Team Full Tilt member who had four final table appearances at this year's World Series of Poker.
