Poker pro Tony G becomes Poker Champs CEO

Frequent guest at popular TV shows and successful World Poker Tour player Tony G has been named CEO of e-poker room Poker Champs. Tony G, who gained a good reputation in European poker circles, bought shares from other shareholders of Poker Champs brining the company to refuse the proposed takeover offer.

With the help of new CEO, Poker Champs is going to improve its growth. Tony G has got a lot of experience in marketing as he worked with Party Poker, known as the top online poker room. The new appointment has already resulted in soaring figures: the company saw a 60% jump in rake comparing with average 23% monthly since October of last year.

“I think we have the most lucrative affiliate program in the business, and just looking at that, I felt that this company was worth so much more than what was available to us today. Everyone saw I was putting my money where my mouth was, and that I had a strong belief in the product. I think my passion led to this change for me”, commented Tony G on his new mission.

In the near future Tony G will have to determine the way of the company's development. He considers the task rather complicated since the company has to work in a tough competition with other operators. The current state of the gambling industry hardly leaves a chance for smaller poker rooms to get their part of the market. But Poker Champs is going to break through with getting new players.
