The Daytona 500 wrapped up a great week of excitement for both fans and gamblers, with our second favorite Jeff Gordon (11/2) capturing the crownfor his third time.

This week, drivers head west for the Auto Club 500, a race that can be narrowed down to a few drivers. To win here, or at any of the other relatively flat tracks, it takes a well financed team with good test results from the early February pre-season test sessions at Las Vegas and California. The dominant car will probably win quite handily, and the drivers to concentrate on this week are Jimmie Johnson (6/1) and Jeff Gordon (5/1). Johnson has had 4 races on the track and two top 2's, pretty impressive, while Gordon won last year's May race on the track and is a 3-time winner here.
