The new European Las Vegas will be built on the border of three European countries – Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. This will be a small town of entertainment and gambling with lots of casinos, attractions. The new paradise for gamblers is designed to recreate the sense of St. Mark Square in Venice, ancient England or Alpine countries.
According to the plan, the new complex will employ up to 12,000 people. The construction will be started in October this year. The initial investment will constitute about $275 million. The accomplishment of the plan will apparently be given green light. This is supported by the fact that the Hungarian government adopted new amendments to the law on gambling, which imply new classification for entertainment and tourist complexes allowing longer concession periods. The local population believes the new Las Vegas will help them to resolve their financial problems, said Radio Budapest.
