GoldenPalace.com trick worries Athens
Another GoldenPalace.com trick resulted in stricter security in Athens
Athens, which enjoys enormous attention, is a great opportunity for promotion. Online casino operator Golden Palace had a good boost on Tuesday, when a Canadian, whose body was emblazoned with the name of the Internet casino, climbed out of the stands and jumped off one of the boards into the pool.
According to the Canadian Press cited by Casinocitytimes.com, this event made Olympic organizers concentrate on security inside all sports venues and establish stricter measures preventing similar issues.
The person initiated the alarm was Ron Bensimhon of Montreal, who was used by GoldenPalace.com for similar publicity stunts in the past. But the companys spokesman Drew Black said Bensimhon did the Olympic stunt on his own Monday night.
He claims he did it for notoriety, to get famous. So that's what he did and that's why he put on GoldenPalace.com because the company has done all this stuff before. And that's about all we got from his lawyer, commented Drew Black.
Bensimhon was found to be connected to similar events earlier this year in Dortmund, Germany. There he came on the ice at the world figure skating championships wearing skates, a tutu, ski goggles and a small top hat with the casino name written on his body.
