Sportinglife.com wraps up deal with ISWI
Interactive Systems Worldwide (ISWI) announced its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Interactive Gaming Limited (GIG), signed an agreement with Sportinglife, the UK-based site, which operates Teamtalk.com, sportal.com, bettingzone.co.uk, football.com, golf365.com, planet-rugby.com, planet-F1.com and rivals.net, as reported by www.onlinecasinonews.com.
The agreement will make available the just-released contest version of its SportXction product during the upcoming Tri-Nations international one-day cricket series, scheduled to be held next month in England.
"We are delighted to have secured a relationship for the launch of our new competition product. This product, will open up additional opportunities for us that were not previously possible with the gambling version of SportXction, one of the most important of which is to offer non-gambling contests throughout the United States," said Bernard Albanese, ISWI President.
The Sportinglife's managers expect SportXction to allow five million sports fans to make play-by-play wagers and predictions on sporting events while they are in progress. Wagering can be done while viewing a live or televised sporting event, or listening to it on the radio. The agreement also provides minimum payments for use of the software and for operating the game, plus a share in sponsorship revenues.
Ben Warn, the Commercial Director of Sportinglife said, "I am most pleased to be able to offer this contest version of SportXction to our users, having observed the excitement gamblers experience."
