The German lottery market that consists of sixteen lottery operators is likely to expand due to the recent cooperation. Lorne Weil, the Chairman and CEO of Scientific Games, said, "Working together with Honsel, we believe we can assist the German lotteries to significantly increase sales of instant lottery tickets and introduce cooperative services. This is a very exciting opportunity for us to once again showcase our superior game design, production, security and logistics capabilities, just as we have done in many other jurisdictions."
According to Casinocitytimes.com, Jan and Klaus Honsel, the principal shareholders and co-managing directors of the company, will keep carrying out his duties pursuant to a multi-year employment agreement.
