ParadisePoker.com, a fast-growing online poker operator, pledged full support for its one hundred Internet qualifiers for the World Series of Poker Championship. The qualifiers, also called the Million Dollar Group, have covered the $10,000 entry fees through the site's $25 satellite tournaments, Onlinecasinonews.com reported.
ParadisePoker.com sponsored a special surprise for their million-dollar amateur team –a celebrity charity poker weekend at the Palms Casino Resort. An array of celebrities were invited to the event – Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Tobey Maguire, David Spade, Mekhi Phifer, Joy Bryant, Danny Masterson, Simon Rex, Tara Reid, Michelle Rodriguez and the Survivor All-Stars couple, Amber Brkich and "Boston" Rob Mariano. All celebrities tried their skills at the ParadisePoker.com Celebrity Challenge, but Lady Luck chose a Survivor All-Stars champion Amber Brkich.
