Lottery.com launches text alerts for mobile phones

Online gambling content provider Lottery.com has launched a new text messaging service that provides nationwide state lottery results to mobile phones. Games Inc., which operates Lottery.com, distributes this new service for cell phone subscribers of North America and Canada. The subscribing package covers about 200 games for checking.

According to Emediawire.com, subscribers don't have to pay to receive the messages, with the exception of messaging fees the provider may charge. The company has decided to avoid a higher price tag for the service by attracting sponsorship to display ads below lottery results.
