Bookies take bets on Kylie Minogue vs. Dj Sassy bum battle
Shortly after Kylie Minogue's 'bum battle' with DJ Sassy hit the headlines, British bookmakers have opened betting lines on who wins the 'bum contest.'
Despite DJ Sassy's claims that Kylie's does not really have a behind, bookmakers gave higher winning odds to Kylie (2:1), with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Sassy following closely behind (3:1).
Kylie Minogue, the top best legged celebrity in the world was challenged by DJ Sassy, who claimed that "Kylie's bums are over rated and there's nothing great about them in reality."
Sassy has recently signed a contract to show her shapely bottom in a campaign for an Internet holiday firm Lastminute.com, Ananova reported.
The 25-year-old Sassy whose bottom is pasted on giant billboards across the U.K. has insured her own behind for 1 million pounds, and says she is glad to be knocking Kylie Minogue off the throne.
"I don't rate Kylie's bum she hasn't got one. Kylie's got absolutely tiny hips so she's not really got a behind," Sassy was quoted saying.
"In the US, people like to see a proper behind but in this country it's been different no hips and big breasts. I don't think Kylie's shape is a very good role model for teenagers. It's about time that curves came back. I've never thought Kylie had a great bum. But I've been told that I've stolen her crown and I've got the best bum in Europe," Sassy said according to thehothits.com.
"Women are not meant to look like men with boobs. We have hips for a reason," she said, quoted by scotsman.com.
The super-sized ads, measuring 20 by 10 metres, have been shot by fashion designer Vivienne Westwood"s son Ben, a photographer.
The cheeky billboards feature captions like Go Where the Sun Does Shine and Put Some Colour In Your Cheeks.
DJ Sassy, real name Saskia Porter, has previously graced the covers of Cosmopolitan, FHM, Elle, GQ, and Vogue, and has played private gigs for P Diddy and Eminem.
DJ Sassy, from Bromley in Kent, was discovered by Radio 1 DJ Trevor Nelson who helped establish her on the British club circuit and is also the Face of Mates Condoms 2004.
