Atlantis Internet Group, an American software provider, released a new gambling website www.avicasino.com. The product can be operate in two modes: play-for-fun and play-for-money. The cash version is targeted at gaming operators in Nevada which are anticipating the legalization of gambling for cash, the biz.yahoo.com website reported.
"While there can be no assurance that online gambling for money will become legal in the United Sates, the company is leasing play-for-fun online gambling web sites to brick-and-mortar casinos where they can help drive traffic and business to traditional casinos", commented Donald Bailey, chairman of Atlantis Internet Group. The company announced its strong belief in legalization and regulation of US online gambling in future and predicts consequential increase of gambling business.
"Some believe that legislation may be enacted to regulate online gambling when licensed gaming executives from Las Vegas and Atlantic City become involved in the business; when Internet Gaming software is embraced as reliable by the regulatory gaming agencies; and when the product is used online by a licensed casino in Nevada or New Jersey,'' added Bailey.
Atlantis Internet Group Corp. was reported to be the first company to interface with online games and player tracking systems. The company is a Delaware corporation specializing in the management of online casinos and the development of casino software. The group offered management and product development criteria utilized by the Nevada and New Jersey gaming jurisdictions for the first time.
