A&E Network to show Caesars Palace in real time
Caesars Palace, one of the world's leading gaming companies, is to be in focus of brand new reality show run by A&E Network. Abbe Raven, executive vice president and general manager of A&E Network announced that the series would cover the inner life of Las Vegas' most legendary resort and casino.
According to Casinocitytimes.com, the show will feature trials, triumphs and tribulations of Las Vegas characters, such as a regular cast of Caesars Palace employees, revolving tourists, first-time gamblers, and other types of visitors.
Spokesperson commented the concept of the program. It is to offer experience of the grand casino through the eyes of different people: the pit boss, the savvy sports book oddsmaker, the hotel concierge, glamorous showgirls, high-rollers and low-rollers, etc. The casino, which attracts about 60,000 attendances a day, will give a chance to any of its visitors to appear in the show.
"We're thrilled to have Caesars Palace as the setting for our next real-life series. Viewers will have the unique opportunity, thanks to the unprecedented access Caesars has given us for the show, to experience the compelling stories that happen behind the scenes at the world's most famous resort and casino," said Abbe Raven, executive vice president and general manager, A&E Network.
Mark Juliano, president of the famous resort, added: "Caesars Palace possesses a mystique that eludes any other casino in Las Vegas. It is the perfect venue for A&E to create an engaging and entertaining television program which will showcase Las Vegas in an unscripted style as has never been done before."
Nancy Dubuc will be the executive producer for A&E Network. The show will be produced for A&E Network by 44 Blue Productions ("What Should You Do?," "Cell Dogs," "True Story of Black Hawk Down") and Cypress Point Productions ("Nuremberg," "Out of the Ashes," "44 Minutes"). Rasha Drachkovitch, Gerald Abrams and Michael Goldstein are executive producers.
Caesars Palace is a Caesars Entertainment resort, which boasts $4.5 billion in annual net revenue, 28 properties on four continents, 26,000 hotel rooms, nearly two million square feet of casino space and 52,000 employees. Caesars casino resorts operate under the Caesars, Bally's, Flamingo, Grand Casinos, Hilton and Paris brand names. The company has its corporate headquarters in Las Vegas.
