Lady Luck smiles on Iowa lottery gambler twice over
An eastern Iowa man K. Morris Richardson has won $100,000 on the Iowa Lottery's Cash Game for a second time. That was his second jackpot.
According to the Associated Press cited by Gamblingmagazine.com, the first $100,000 jackpot made him happy in the year 2000. Hovewer, Lady Luck seems not to betray him even now. Last week she surprised him with a second $100,000 present.
Richardson, 79, a member of the Solon American Legion Post 460, bought a $100,000 Cash Game ticket at a Hy-Vee Food store and matched the five numbers for Monday's draw.
"I just kind of smiled all the way to the bank," he said about his lottery success.
According to lottery officials, the odds of winning the game twice are one in 324,632.
