George Clooney's BlackJack

George Clooney's BlackJack Many celebrities choose to gamble. They often make a great deal of money for just a single event or movie, so they have enough to gamble with, it seems. However, gambling can become addictive and the stakes can soar to incredible heights. Even when the bets and wagers become extraordinary, many celebrities and wealthy individuals will keep right on going, placing bet after bet. George Clooney is an example of one of the more famous celebrity gamblers.

A short time ago, this famous ladies man filmed Ocean's Eleven. While he is known for his gambling reputation, it is not a good one; this man is known to have very unfortunate luck when it comes to gambling and he rarely does well. That's part of the reason why it is such a good thing that he makes so much money with his day job; he could probably not succeed simply by gambling. While the cast and crew of Ocean's Eleven gathered at a casino for a run of BlackJack, George's luck became worse, even by his standards. Many people did not expect the popular and handsome actor to succeed at BlackJack, but they were also not expecting him to lose quite as miserably as he managed to do. It was simply not a good night for George Clooney, who was still determined to keep right on trying to win something.

The results were worse than anyone else could have imagined. His co-star, Matt Damon, remarked on his losing twenty-five hands, all in a row. "The odds of that happening were completely shocking and mind-boggling. Professional gamblers in the casino were pulling back their chips until George decided to call it a night and finally left the casino." Damon clearly and accurately explained the scene for all those who were unable to witness the devastating event first-hand.

However, before George decided to call it a night, he ended up borrowing and losing six hundred dollars from Matt Damon. In the morning, Clooney slipped an envelope into the hotel room of Damon. Inside was a check, made out to Matt. However, in order to cash the check, the teller of the bank would likely read the memo filled in by Clooney. Addressed to Matt Damon from George Clooney was a check in the amount of six hundred dollars, allegedly for, as indicated by the memo, a lap dance. At least it's nice to know Clooney and Damon have a sense of humor about the entire event...
