Full Tilt Poker has revealed that one of their online players has taken home over $76,000 after they won the $535 buy-in six max pot limit Omaha Tournament on Saturday. This was a part of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).
This online poker series by Full Tilt Poker is in its 13th edition and began last Wednesday. The total sum of prizes that were up for grabs during 25 different events is thought to be at $19 million.
The Omaha Tournament which saw one player take home over $76,000 was the sixth even and there were 833 competitors battling it out for a portion of the $416,500 prize pool. This prize pool was $66,500 over the guaranteed $350,000 prize pool.
One player that bowed out in the 102nd place took home $791 just for his efforts alongside another 17 players. The next placed 18 players all walked away with $874 with the next best 12 players taking $999 for their efforts. The twelve players above these took home $1,166. This is great for those who weren’t near the top placements.
Players who came 37th to 42nd took home $1,374 each and players who came 31st to 36th took home $1,624 each. 25th to 30th place took home $1,915 each and for those who came in 19th to 24th the prize fund was $2,290 each.
The take home prizes continued to rise and those who came 16th to 18th took home $2,832 each. The lucky players who managed to come in 13th to 15th took home $3,581 and those who came in 11th and 12th took home $4,914. The players who came in 9th and 10th took home $6,455 each. The lucky player who came in 8th position went home with $8,954. In seventh place the prize was $8,954, in sixth place it was $14,369 and for 5th it was a huge $22,491. For the person in 4th place it was $31,654 and third place netted $41,650. The person in second place took home a huge $71,000.
