If you live in any of the countries that are allowed to play you have from now until April 2010 to join one of the 15 member teams. The countries included in the European Cup Competition are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Games will commence in April and there will be a live final in May. This final will take place in a top Southern European resort and the winner from these 15 teams will get to take home a share of the €100,000 prize pool and of course the 2010 title.

There will be a combination of fee online and live qualifiers to determine the members of each of the 15 teams and these events will be taking place all across Europe and on the Everest Poker website. Each winning team member will receive a prize package for the live final in May. This prize package will include accommodation, travel and event activities worth €2,000.

According to a statement from Everest Poker they have actually simplified the qualification process for the European Cup 2010 and this year the tournament is open to 15 different European countries. There are 225 live final places to fill so there will be 15 players from each country on a team.
