The Bad Beat Jackpot that is available at the International Poker Network at GTECH G2 has just gone past the €300,000 mark so if you fancy getting your hands on this amazing jackpot and you play online poker then this is for you. This whopping jackpot is called the Bad Beat Jackpot and it is only awarded if a great hand is beaten by a better one. This sounds a little bit strange but it is fairly simple. If you a player holding a four of a kind loses to a straight flush then this will activate the Bad Beat Jackpot.
This amazing jackpot was added to last week so that the winner of this fabulous jackpot would get at least €100,000. This information was given out by Per Karlsson spokesperson for Head of Poker GTECH G2. He also went on to say that the last time the Bad Beat Jackpot was hit it was just after it topped the €400,000 mark. I guess it won’t be long until it is hit again and when it does if you happen to be the person who gets a great hand but gets beaten by a better hand you won’t feel so bad when you get this jackpot win.
The player who actually wins the online poker game will currently receive over €50,000 and this amount is then also split between the other members playing at the table. There is no telling how big this jackpot will get before if it hit next and if you can remember back as far as August this year you will remember that the jackpot then was won when it was €412,000.
If this sounds like a jackpot that you would like to get your hands on then you need to start playing more online poker and checking out just what the Bad Beat Jackpot is all about. Remember this jackpot is only available at the International Poker Network of GTECH G2 so be sure to check it out.

Have you ever heard of a bad beat jackpot? Well one extremely lucky online poker player just bagged themselves the bad beat jackpot courtesy of the IPN International Poker Network after he lost his online poker game. This lucky online player had a hand of four jacks and was convinced that he would win. Unfortunately another player revealed four kings which beat him.
Thanks to the bad beat jackpot though, this player actually received €144,473 of the €412,781 jackpot that was up for grabs. The actual winner of the game only took home €72,236 and the other competitors playing at the table took home €24,078 each.
The winner of the bad beat jackpot used the pseudonym AlkaliEars and he is reported to have said that he was sure his four jacks would win the game and that his heart sank when his opponent revealed that he had four kings. He then remembered that by losing with such a good hand that he had actually won the bad beat jackpot.
The International Poker Network is Europe’s largest independent poker network. It is operated by GTech G2 which also includes some of the most popular online poker websites including VirginPoker.com, PokerHeaven.com, and Casino-Club.com. It also hosts regular one million Euro tournaments. The current bad beat jackpot is now already over €90,000 and after the publicity that AlkaliEars received I’m sure plenty of players will be queuing up to get their hands on it.
The bad beat jackpot was designed to help ease the frustration of players when they lost with a great hand and it seems to have done the trick. In order to be in with a chance of winning it though the requirement is that you have a quad of sixes or more. In order to qualify for the bad beat jackpot you must be playing at a designated bad beat table and use both pocket cards in their winning or losing hand. In addition to this, the losing hand also has to have four of a kind and be sixes or better. There must also be four players in the hand.
