Full Tilt Poker have just announced that they have launched their Steps Tournaments promotion.  This promotion gives all their players the chance to win a seat that is worth $12,000 at the main event of the upcoming World Series of Poker and all it will cost players is approximately $3.30.

The steps tournaments on the Full Tilt Poker website play just like their regular competitions with the exception being that players compete for tickets into the next level of the series.  This promotion will award tickets into a variety of satellite tournaments including those for the main event in the WSOP.  Players can also buy in at any step they choose and they can purchase tournament tickets from the Full Tilt Poker website.  Each tournament ticket is worth a specific buy in amount and it can then be used to take part in any of the tournaments that are running on the website.

The main event for this year’s World Series of Poker will begin on the 5^th of July and it takes place in the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  This is a $10,000 buy in no limit hold’em championship and the final nine players should be known by the 17^th of July.  Once the final nine are known the tournament will stop and then recommence from the 6^th to the 9^th of November in front of a live audience and it will also receive special primetime coverage from ESPN.
