The leading online poker website Poker Stars have announced that they are going to be sponsoring the European Poker Tour London tournament which will begin this Wednesday and end on the 7th of October 2009. This is an extremely popular poker event and London always sees a really great turnout.
This is the sixth edition of this popular poker tournament and it will be held in two different locations. Both locations are just a couple of metres away from each other and they are located in London’s Edgware Road. These two locations are the Hilton London Metropole and the Grosvenor Victoria Casino.
As I mentioned, this event will kick off on the 30th of September with a £20,500 buy in high roller tournament before it progresses on to no-limit hold’em six max and pot limit Omaha freeze out events. On Thursday the 1st October you will have the pot limit Omaha double chance six max event and the European Eight Game Championship. After this the first day of the main event will take place and the champion of the competition will be announced five days later on the 7th of October.
