The founder of the leading online poker information portal known as Pokerlistings.com had dies. Andreas Oscarsson who was 36 years of age was found dead in his home in Sweden last Monday. It has been alleged that Mr. Oscarsson was shot dead.
Andreas Oscarsson was the winner of the World Series of Poker bracelet and two years ago after the birth of his son he stepped down as Chief Executive Officer for PokerListings.com. He continued to serve only in an advisory capacity.
Mr. Oscarsson had been visiting his childhood home in Sweden when this tragedy occurred and a statement from PokerListings.com stated that they have no other details other than the fact that he was found dead in his bed on the morning of August 3rd and that he had been shot. They also stated that he was someone who was a close friend to many and that he will be sadly missed.
This is a sad day for PokerListings.com but they have said that they will strive to keep his vision of building a world leading online gambling company alive in honour of his memory.
