Bluff Europe the leading poker publication has announced that the third annual Poker in the Park festival which will be taking place next month August 2009 has been endorsed by British registered charity GamCare.
Poker in the Park is Europe’s largest annual poker festival and it will take place from 5pm on August 13th to 9.30pm in London’s Leicester Square. There will also be more poker party action on August 14th from 12 noon till 9.30pm.
This two day event will see professional players including signing autographs and answering questions. These professionals include Ian Frazer, Neil Channing, Kara Scott, Nick Persaud, and Paul Jackson. They will also be available to offer personal advice and insight into the world of poker. It is expected that almost 15,000 people will attend this two day festival.
According to Michael Caselli who is the Editor in Chief for Bluff Europe Poker in the Park should be seen to promote poker as a safe and enjoyable activity and this is the third year in a row that GamCare have been invited to participate in the event.
GamCare are the leading international authority when it comes to gambling and there provide advice, practical help, support and counselling for anyone who needs it. They are a non-profit organisation and they will be present at Poker in the Park to offer advice and leaflets on responsible gambling.

I will be reporting more information for you as the event draws nearer and will bring you the latest updates as they arrive.
